East Bay Open Studios, Embarcadero Cove, Oakland

une 1st, 2nd, 8th, and 9th, 2013                                          11:00am - 6:00pm

Good News! My studio mate, Paul Szymanski, and I have signed on to be a part of the East Bay Open Studios. This means we'll be opening our studio to the public from 11:00am to 6:00pm on the weekend of June 1st and 2nd and again on the weekend of June 8th, and June 9th. It will be an opportunity to check out our latest work, mingle, and get a peak into our studio spaces. While you're out our way in Oakland there will also be a ton of nearby open studios for you to visit in Jingletown, Embarcadero Cove, and Jack London. East Bay Open Studios is organized by

ProArts, a non-profit Oakland arts institution, and to give you some idea of the scope here's the official description:

"During the first two weekends in June, the 2013 East Bay Open Studios connects the public with over 400 artists in 14 cities in the East Bay. Since 1979, this event remains the largest art event in the region and draws an annual audience over 50,000."

June is a long way off, but 'll post updates here and in the news section as we get closer, and provide links to the major events and the studio directory.
