These screenprints and paintings of horizons, texts, and road signs inspired by the Western landscape and California coast. Rather than depicting specific places, they represent an idealized landscape of the road trip, westward expansion, Hollywood.

I’m interested in the imaginary landscapes that formed in my mind through literature, film, and media long before I ever moved to California. It's a symbolic landscape laden with the optimism, nostalgia, and the cultural significance of the frontier, westward expansion, and Hollywood.
