Mottled blue

Lots of color variation from pale green and bluish-white to brown, with burnt brown edges. Piece #3 may have had a thinner glaze coat because it doesn’t have any of the pale green.

Transparent

Fully transparent glaze with cool grey tint. The one on the right has a top layer of tangerine that dripped over the transparent. The one on the left is dark brown in areas of thin glaze.

Ranch butter

Glossy white with lots of speckling that breaks brown around the edges and thin spots.

Toshiko black

A very interesting black, mostly a satin silvery-black but then glossy saturated black on the edges and in random places.

Giatta’s blue

Melty ice blue that shows speckling and breaks to brown in thin areas. There’s a red-brown hue on the clay body where it meets the glaze that creates some interest in the bottom half.

A few random whites

The 2 on the left are satin warm white. The two on the right are matte white, a thin transparent matte glaze that’s white in thicker areas and drip areas. A lot of the light tan clay color shows through.

Satin warm white on various clays

Geometric underglazes (regular glaze in the inside)

Random mix of things

B-18

Blue-grey that turns a pinkish-brown in thinner areas.
