Mottled blue

Lots of color variation from pale green and bluish-white to brown, with burnt brown edges. Piece #3 may have had a thinner glaze coat because it doesn’t have any of the pale green.

Bringle yellow

A granny smith apple green. Semi-transparent with clay speckling showing through. #3 is on a lighter clay body and appears as more of a chartreuse or greenish-yellow.

Ranch butter

Glossy white with lots of speckling that breaks brown around the edges and thin spots.

Tangerine

Light transparent peachy color. So transparent the clay body shows through (not just speckling) Browns out in thinner glaze areas (especially noticeable on #3).

Giatta’s blue

Melty ice blue that shows speckling and breaks to brown in thin areas. There’s a red-brown hue on the clay body where it meets the glaze that creates some interest in the bottom half.

Matte white

Thin transparent matte glaze that’s white in thicker areas and drip areas. A lot of the light tan clay color shows through.

RJ shino

Warm red-brown satin glaze that goes white in extra thick spots and darker in thin spots and edges. Time in glaze increased from left to right.

Piece #3 small plant pot (no hole) — very messy drip from kiln

Green to black and cornwall stone

On left there’s “Green to black” a black glaze that breaks brown in thin areas. On the right there’s “Cornwall stone” a very speckled blueish cream color with warm brown edges.

Transparent

Fully transparent glaze with cool grey tint. The one on the right has a top layer of tangerine that dripped over the transparent. The one on the left is dark brown in areas of thin glaze.

Banilla

Erratic matte glaze that goes from red-brown to tan to cream depending on firing conditions. It turns to cream in the thickest areas.

Satin warm white and matte black + cornwall stone

On left light white satin glaze with some light speckles. On right, overlapping black satin glaze with white speckled glaze (the overlapping area is a dark black-brown.

Bringle yellow + green

Transparent yellowy apple green color that has a layer of a transparent bluer green dripping down from the rim.
